Cardaversary!

Today is the day, today marks my 1 year anniversary as to when I started making cards.  I was at my aunts house and we went to her friend Renae’s house and had a card making night, OH MY LORD I fell in love I was sitting across from my aunt and after our first card she looked at me and said oh Gosh youve found another hobby havent you? and I said NO this is just fun!  Well boy has I wrong, and she was too, because Stampin up is so far from a Hobby its an addiction, but a healthy one, it much like cake decorating is something that I LOVE and am PASSIONATE about!  For years my sweet boyfriend always said once you find what your passionate about then… and I just thought he was blowing smoke NOPE once again he was right and much wiser than I.  I LOVE cards/invitations everything about it!  I cannot wait to play in my stampin stuff when I get home!  In fact I have decided to build a business and career around Invitations and Cake decorating which are both of my loves and passions!  Ok enough drooling over my love for stampin and stampin up lol Here is my very first card!

After this little card I was a smitten kitten!  I love it its very simple and basic and I love it!  I will post on the 6th of every month, a simple basic card, to remind me of my stampin up “roots” and remind you that even the most basic and simple cards are beautiful!!

Technique Time

Ink It Up!

I inked up the stamp with melon mambo wiped off some of the flowers then inked those flowers up with a pumpkin pie craft stampin spot then I stamped off the image to give it a shadow.  I couldnt really see a huge difference in colors at first but after it dried I really could tell a huge difference!

This was the result and I really loved it!
